Restaurante Mistura

The food and drinks were fabulous. Nice ambiance. The service was horrendous. Had to flag them down to order. They forgot drinks. Every waiter we interacted with had 0 personality and could care less that we were there. This was my first experience with bad...waitstaff in 10 days of Colombia. 5 stars for the food. 0 stars for the service.

We had the charred octopus , 2 sushi rolls and a salmon salad. Everything was absolutely fabulous. Add live music and it was a great night in romantic Cartagena: We will be back.

This place was recommended to us from our cab driver. And we're glad we got to experience this restaurant. We walked in without a reservation and the host was very lovely, she wrote our names down and told us to come back in about 20...minutes when the restaurant opened. We returned, she remembered our names, and she found us a nice table by the live band that night. I must say this was the best meal we had in Cartagena, hands down. WoW, the food was outstanding. We would definitely go back. Though, the waiter service should improve a bit to complete the Wow experience. The waiters should be very knowledgeable on the menu offerings so they can sell the food and experience. And be very attentive to small tables just like they're with the big tables.

First off the hostesses were great! However the food was not that good. I ordered the tiradito cremoso and the arangohan (rice balls). The tiradito was ok, a little too citrusy and saucy. The rice balls were awful. They were supposed to come with bacon...and cheese but had some weird fish inside, and were over fried and bland. The band started playing midway through dinner and immediately nobody could hear anybody else. My waiter and I were constantly asking each other to repeat what we said. Also I’m very sorry to say but the band was just pretty bad! Sang extremely off pitch and it was a little cringy. I felt bad so tried to clap after each song but no one else did so it felt a little awkward. This place isn’t bad but if you’re looking for an upscale dinner I’d try Carmen or cande. I do think this place might be a tad cheaper though?
