Magical. For me, this place is an essential part of the DC experience. The squeeze bottles, the atmosphere, the staff: I would never consider visiting DC on a weekend and not stopping by.

I’ve been wanting to come here for ages. It was everything I had imagined.

You can easily walk pass this bar since it has no windows or views to see inside (or outside). It's a divey, dark bar (cash only), where you pay about $30 for a serving of liquor and 1 mixer served in a ketchup bottle. The liquor is bottom shelf as evident by the lines of plastic-bottled liquor. You also get served shot glasses to drink out of. Careful, you only get 1 can of soda, so use it wisely. Popular with the young kids as it's not expensive compared to other bars. The bar needs a major update, but I guess that's charming to some people?

Racist!!!! They heard Irish accents and immediately told us we were too drunk to come in even though we had not had a single drink before coming. Typical of the Hibernophobia we see in the USA. DISGRACEFUL.

Had a great time going to Dan’s, squeezing cocktails out of a ketchup bottle as Leonard skynyrd blasted in the background. I really appreciated the employee who purposefully placed himself in front of the women’s bathroom. That small gesture made me feel much safer. Thank you for that!!
