Yama Japanese - Camarillo

We ate on the restaurant side (as opposed to the teppan side or sushi bar). The Volcano Roll (scallops surrounded by salmon) was very good, as was the combo (wild caught salmon and panko-battered veggie tempura). Both were cooked perfectly. Servers were friendly and attentive.

Was in town visiting family in Camarillo, came here nice quaint little Japanese bistro, had the vegetable and shrimp tempura, super good. Only thing is it took a long time for them to make sushi rolls.

Truly a place for great sushi and fun sushi chefs. Two of the guys there usually make our food extra yummy! Love this place! I always go back when I’m in the area.

This sushi restaurant is fantastic! Our entire family enjoys dining here, and our little granddaughters particularly appreciate the special attention they receive at the sushi bar. The food presentations are beautiful, and there’s a wide variety of rolls to cater to every palate. The fish is incredibly fresh, and they serve the lightest tempura in the area. Our favorite chef is Steve!
