The Cambridge Brew House

We dined here for lunch on Sunday. The service was prompt and very friendly and the food was very tasty. The bearded barman/waiter was super helpful and really looked after us. Great place to visit for a drink or to dine.

Such a great pub with friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere. The Brew House never disappoints whether it’s a Saturday night (or all day drinking) birthday celebration or a mid week dinner with friends. Fab food and a comprehensive drink selection, plus they brew their own beer! Harry totally looked after us and made this evening even more special. It was like being welcomed by an old friend.

Would not recommend. The staff weren’t great and communication was poor! Venue was full of rowdy men with nothing but insults

We were looking for somewhere more casual but did decent food and here really fit the bill. I had the twice cooked sticky beef which was amazing! Best meal I’ve had out in ages, and my wife had the Caesar salad, which I believe was also enjoyed. Drinks wise I concentrated on the beers brewed on the premises, trying a number of them with the 3 beer 1/3 of a pint deal (the name of which escapes me). The only confusing but was how quiet it was for a Friday night, given the excellent food, beer and general ambiance. Overall it’s a really good gastro pub, if people are even using that phrase anymore, so get it booked if you find yourself in Cambridge!!

Had a lovely lunch, chicken tender spicy hummus and my gawddd those mac and cheese bites. Nico was an attentive informative barman. Overall 10* if i could give it. Our 2nd time and we will always be back.
