The Portland Arms - Cambridge

Characteristic pub a few minutes from Jesus Green. Beautiful 1930s interior with a gig room at the back. Friendly staff and always a few guest ales. Always some good rock music on the stereo system. Some interesting music memorabilia, and a few vintage arcade games to play. One of Cambridge's friendlier pubs.

Brilliant pub, went here for New Year's eve, the live band was awesome, the cheese table was a perfect fit for the evening, it was delicious. The atmosphere was awesome. Would definitely recommend.

Superb little music venue, we arrived early with a pre-booked table to grab a bite to eat and c couple of drinks before the gig. Lovely cosy atmosphere on a freezing cold nigh, just what we needed. Wonderful friendly staff who could not have been more helpful. Not a huge menu but more than enough for us. Had a great evening, cannot fault it and cannot wait to go back. top marks.

Kyran was amazing, first day on the job and absolutely brilliant on both the pints, the food recommendation and the banter- just a shame about the managers

Great little live music venue! Friendly staff, good selection of drinks. Could do with more toilets though...
