Grendel's Den - Cambridge

Unfortunately I grendels the one solid star after an experience I had yesterday evening, 13 March 2020. I went there several times and always loved it. I and some of my friends decided to mutate it last night and free it from the house that frightens coronavirus. at grendel’s that the bartender was great, happy that some people were out. a person who consumed something too much to drink spilled beer on her handy on the bar. as a normal, nicer man, I have caught some serviettes and then handed over to the guy next to me to give the mozen to save her handy. the gentleman next to me put the serviettes that were not used back in the stack that was behind the bar. five minutes later, a woman came to the heart, sitting next to me and asking if I were his friend. he said he had just met me during the situation, with the person who spilled beer on her handy. this woman then went on to say they never tremble their hand behind my bar. that's not your Cking bar. as no müll person I said, oh well, sorry that I only tried to help me not to worry, they do not touch the dinge in my bar so, short, obviously this person owns the bar and is really only terrible for people who visit their bar. it does not help if the people are spilling on their phones and shouting at the moss when they help. Of course, if they treat their mules as müll, they will share their history where they can. Don't go here, the owner's not nice. edit: the bartender and other staff were great, they should get a job at another bar that treats their customers friendly.

Cozy underground atmosphere and decent drinks. inflamed to see a French 75 on the cocktail list. happy hour has a good deal, 1/2 eating with a drink purchase between 2:30-7:30 o'clock. not much for vegans at all. I had an impossible burger on a bun, but the sauce did not eat because it looked suspicious. my man had portobello burger minus all fixations because they were milk-based. so pretty bland eats. inlay consisted of potato chip crumbs. server told us hardly two words and did not offer much other than a serviette and cute.

It is nice that they have the impossible burger and good happy hour prizes.

Recently they've started doing little events and shows here, which got my roomie and I out of our hobbit hole to attend. It's a wonderful little bar, the waitstaff is very friendly, and once came to our rescue when we were being harassed by another very drunk patron. Even bought my roomie a drink as apology. The food is also pretty decent, the namesake sandwich is absolutely worth trying.

Awesome. Awesome awesome awesome. Wait staff was more than attentive; and because we waited what they considered too long, one of our waiters bought our beer. The atmosphere was calm and pleasant. The music playing was at a good level, and added to the ambiance.The food was excellent.
