Sakana - Cambridge

Ordered the sakana and dragon makimono. Service was great our waiter recommended a perfect sake based on our preferences.

Did not feel clean!! Dirty cups, table didnt feel clean etc, sushi window was also rough… food was okay. My company enjoyed their food but i thought otherwise. Tempura in my sushi was actually the whole sushi deep fried. Miso soup was salty.

I had ordered a takeout spicy tuna roll that tasted off. I had an omakase meal lined up at Cafe Sushi for dinner which would be expensed as a business meal. So, I ordered takeout sushi for my family as I felt bad about the great meal I had ahead of me. My wife ate a piece and immediately asked me to try it as well as she thought it was off. It was so bad that it turned her off from eating the yellowtail roll and me off from getting omakase that wouldn't been free.The service is good though. They wanted to make things right but I can't get over how rotten the spicy tuna tasted.

Taste: 70/80. Ordered the Chicken katsu which came with miso soup and rice and grilled squid. Chicken was crispy and the squid was cooked well.Atmosphere/Service: 3.5/5 Space was very cramped and music was a little weird. Service was quick but it took a while to get a water refillRe eatability: 13/15. Menu isn't huge as most of it is sushi but they have other good options and food is all healthy.Overall: 86.5 Would definitely come back/recommend

Overall positive experience! The food was good--I ordered an eel donburi and grilled squid--both were very tasty.Came in around 2pm and the servers were quick to take our orders with a pretty full house.The restaurant is pretty small and well decorated. For maximum seating, people sit pretty close together. Music is a range of throwbacks from the 2000-2010.
