Forage - Cambridge

My sister and I ordered the tasting menu with the cheese course. You could really tell that the Chef curated the flavors and bites to make absolutely delicious dishes. The main course, a hangar steak with fennel and potato hash was so good and even better when you ate it all together. We didn’t love the initial cheese course they brought us and the kitchen prepared a different cheese that was absolutely delicious (and removed it from the bill, an unnecessary but appreciated measure). The desserts were magnificent, including an extra cherry sorbet for my birthday. A really curated, impactful dining experience. The theme of the restaurant “Forage” really came through in the dishes. The service was also impeccable. Definitely recommend.

The tasting menu at Forage is a truly unique experience. I appreciate that they are able to accommodate any dietary restrictions and take preferences into consideration. The wine pairing is exceptional as it tells a story about each wine. The knowledgeable waitstaff, who may be sommeliers, are informative and never make you feel out of place, even if you are not familiar with wine. The dishes can be hit or miss due to their experimental nature, but with 4 courses, you are sure to find something you love. The staff is lovely, the atmosphere is intimate, the food is interesting, and the wine selection is unique (ever tried orange wine?). For a special occasion, Forage is the perfect place to celebrate.

Whether it's a casual Thursday night enjoying one of their fantastic wine dinners or a special occasion, the staff at this restaurant always knows how to make your evening memorable. The menu is constantly changing to highlight seasonal and delicious dishes, making it difficult to choose a favorite. However, their wine and cocktail selection is excellent, and you can trust the staff to recommend something you'll enjoy. Personally, I can't stop thinking about the beef mole papusa and the Honey Bear cocktail - they were absolutely delicious!

Love love the locally intentionally sourced ingredients and in house specialties like the cultured cashew cheese. Did wine dinner, some of best wines I’ve ever had. I need to go back to dive into the food more

Absolutely a wonderful place to spend our anniversary. The tasting menu was so well thought out with all the wine pairings and dishes. Would love to come here again and definitely recommend to anyone with a sophisticated pallette!
