'ram pubs', the reliant side of the pubco youngs, made a makeover of the calthorpe shortly before they sold it, and about 50 other pubs, to punch taverns. so the calthorpe profits from this modernization. as a side that was not modernized, was the pub sign: the 'initial letter' was seen nonsense on the rest of the an being. always, back to pub. I don't remember the brewery names, but there were some tapes with real ale on. the personal was friendly and efficient. the price of £4.90 a pint was expected for the opposite. in the neighboring wren street there are stable seats and tables. we sat at the table next to the entrance and watched the minimal traffic on the grays inn road, while we hear someone from the whole road, possibly from the london welsh centre singing. over the street from pub in the wren street is st andrews gardens, so these outdoors are a pleasant place to sit.
