Larry's Drive In - Camden

We're in Camden on a fishing trip. The selection of restaurants is not the best here, but Larrys Drive Inn is certainly a bright place. I have seen a number of reviews complaining about the waiting period. Let me say that if you don't like to wait for good food, just go over the road to Hardees. You will probably get your food faster. Even you may not be with Larry may have a positive impact on my waiting time at Larry's. We had a Cheeseburger and Pommes. The fried were not the best, but were completely acceptable. The burgers, on the other hand, were among the best I've ever eaten. Hand made, with great fresh meat. Waiting was a little long, but it was worth waiting. That means you also need to understand that my waiting time fell while the Ironbowl played. I miss a minute of this game and don't be mad? The food had to be good.

Slow service, if Larry isn't there. Daily specials. Food always good.

First time there, ordered the double cheeseburger. Great tasting burger, excellent service, fair pricing. Recommend this place if you're hungry for a cheeseburger in Camden Alabama. They do get really busy during the lunch and dinner hours so be prepared for up to a 30 minute wait on your order.

The hospitality was excellent, and the food was outstanding—especially the string beans, which were exceptionally large. I would highly recommend this lovely restaurant to all my fellow travelers.

The burgers are stunning, the staff is very friendly, and you definitely have to try their maize nuggets!
