The shell-khowder was just fine. it was a thin-framed broth with kartoffels a pretty good portion mush. I'm glad we went out for them, but I felt like we were on the way. .no hallo when we're there, no farewell when we left and not thank you. this was not just a hired, no one who worked there, expanded any common courtesy.
I was like hey, how is your fish and chip. waiter said they won't regret and I didn't. it turned my week in maine after earlier evil. the teig is perfect and oh young, the service is top notch. I wish I were here first. best is the price for a seat very reasonable. we have wiped our table. that can wait first a few minutes yo get a table but not get hangry. we also have a mussel knower and it is honestly very tasty. I think it's all butter. reasons we don't eat all the time, but definitiw on vacation. this is a large casual place for local and tourist alike.
Hubby and I stopped here on our way home on the last day of our trip. Because we usually come through Camden during the summer when the shops and restaurants are super-busy and full, we had never stopped here. But it being April we actually found parking on the street and decided to give Mariner's a try. I have been on a mission to find the perfect' clam chowder and have been disappointed everywhere I order it. It's either too thin or too thick, too bland or too salty, too skimpy on clams or worse, the clams are like rubber. So it was with great skepticism that I ordered a bowl, not expecting much. It was absolutely delicious, chock full of tender clams and potatoes in a savory broth full of flavor and aroma. It was hands down the best I've ever had and I am still talking about it. Hubby had the steak sub and it was enormous and tasty. Prices were very reasonable compared to other restaurants we had been to on our trip. We saw other items on the menu we can't wait to try when we return in the summer. We will most definitely be back.
During my recent stay in Camden, I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant. My only regret is not having breakfast here every day. I tried the lobster omelette for the first time and it was absolutely delicious. My wife enjoyed the French toast as well. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was impeccably clean. If you find yourself in Camden, be sure to treat yourself to a meal here.
My group of eight arrived at this restaurant at 11:30 on a Saturday, even though the posted hours were 8-2. Despite waiting for a table, we were told that we could only order from the breakfast menu and not from the lunch menu. As half of our group had dietary restrictions, we had to leave. We were very disappointed with the experience.
