Írjon visszajelzéstMy order arrived quickly, and when I got home to enjoy the sushi, I was delighted by the taste! As a flexitarian, I chose four of their vegetarian rolls. The first roll I sampled was the Anti-Phishing, which features spicy tofu, tempura green beans, ahimi, avocado, unagi sauce, and green onions. Ahimi mimics the texture of raw tuna but is actually made from tomato. I was initially skeptical about tofu in a sushi roll, but it turned out to be wonderful! The tofu paired beautifully with the unagi sauce and avocado, creating a refreshing flavor. I appreciated the soft texture of the tofu, which was surprisingly flavorful. The ahimi also had a lovely softness and successfully gave me the sensation of eating raw tuna without actually consuming fish. I did wish the tofu had a bit more spice, as I was expecting it to be spicier. Nonetheless, this was my favorite roll out of the four I tried—highly recommend! The second roll, the Snitch, included spicy tofu, cucumber, avocado, spicy spy sauce, and sweet potato crisps. This roll was definitely spicier than the Anti-Phishing, which I loved. The added spice in the tofu was fantastic! The avocado and cucumber lent a fresh touch, while the spicy spy sauce complemented the roll perfectly. The sweet potato crisps added a nice textural contrast, though I wished they were a bit crunchier. Overall, I really enjoyed this roll; it offered all the flavors one should experience in a sushi roll. Next, I tried the DTF (Down to Fiesta), an avocado roll topped with fresh pico de gallo, jalapeños, Persian lime jalapeño olive oil, and sesame seeds. This roll was fresh and vibrant, and I loved how the other ingredients elevated the overall flavor. However, I felt it could have benefited from a hint of acidity—maybe a touch of lemon, as pico de gallo really calls for that zing. Despite this, I did appreciate the fun, fresh flavors they incorporated. Lastly, I had the Hollaback roll, which contains shiitake mushrooms, cucumber, avocado, lemon, garlic crisps, soy vinaigrette, and spicy sprouts. I enjoyed the mildness of this roll, and all the vegetables worked together beautifully. The lemon on top added a nice acidity, allowing the various flavors to shine. The shiitake mushrooms provided a hearty element, making the roll quite filling. Overall, this roll was delicious and satisfying. In summary, I truly enjoyed my experience at Sushi Confidential, and I highly recommend it if you find yourself in Campbell or San Jose! Their sushi rolls were incredibly fresh, and the rice was expertly cooked. Remember to support local businesses like this one and give their sushi a try—it's truly delicious, and I appreciate the variety of vegetarian and vegan options! I hope to see even more vegetarian selections in the future! For more Bay Area food recommendations, follow me on Instagram @the.flexitarian.aholic!
Sushi Confidential offers some of the most innovative sushi I’ve ever tasted! Their ever-changing menu features a delightful fusion of flavors and textures. From spicy, crunchy rolls with tempura shrimp to light, zesty citrus sushi, there’s something for everyone. Their ramen is also a must-try! Be sure not to miss their happy hour from 3-6 PM and 9 PM to close. The ahi wonton tacos during happy hour are definitely worth a visit!
Watching the chef at work is incredibly entertaining, and there’s plenty of interesting writing on the walls to keep you entertained while you wait. I appreciate that there’s something for everyone on the menu. I particularly enjoy their Okinawa bowl, even though it often leaves me feeling really full. But it’s definitely worth it!
Went today on a Sunday. Looked like it started to pick up after the 49er game was over but everyone kept their distance. They had a great set up. We gave them our name and it was about a 15 minute wait so we walked around until the table was ready. They have little signs stating I'd the table was clean or dirty. Also, they had a sign for you to scan the menu from your phone. When you were ready to order you went to the table at the entrance. They have plexiglass separating you from the cashier. They even sanitized your card before swiping. They do add an 18% gratuity to your order for the whole staff to split, which is a great idea! They bring you ice water in plastic cups and a vase with ice cold water for you to refill yourself. Everyone had masks. Food was great! Sad they didn't have the green bean tower anymore but got the edamame instead. Those were addicting! Had a side of miso soup. We also ordered the spicy salmon roll (brought tears to my bf's eyes
The food was amazing and tasty, I really liked the service despite the fact that due to lock down tables were outside and everyone has mask on they were trying so hard to meet the standard, we also ordered an in-house wine, which I loved it. We had sushi and donburi with chicken teriyaki, both have had a very fresh meat, and ingredients. The desk was clean and sanitized before sitting, which is nice given the situation. The price and service fee where higher than usual, which is OK.
