Monte Carlo Restaurant - Camrose

I took my wife here for an early Mother's Day dinner (kids all grown up). Glad we made reservations, as many people were turned away, so it appeared to us it was sold out. Restaurant decor is good, though the bathrooms needed attention...gargae can was overflowing and the room looked quite dated. The meal was excellent with us ordering Baked Cheese Tortellini Grilled Chicken Parmesan. Wait time was acceptable and the food arrived hot. Portions were quite large (take home required for me). Food was really good. Meal prices quite reasonable. We had Apple Crisp Lemon Cheesecake for dessert these were also priced quite reasonably. Overall a very pleasant evening. Waitstaff was efficient and polite. We will return. Now looking forward to tomorrow to having the leftovers for lunch!

We went last night with friends while we were in Camrose before going to the Bailey Theater .The restaurant was clean,the food was excellent and the service was great as well.I will definitely go back again whenever I am in Camrose.The pizza's looked good .I will try them whenever we go back.

Spectacular food. Great place for family dinners Christmas parties. Friendly staff and good drinks! Delicious appys too, the crab dip is a must try. Love the lasagna and the pizza AND crispy chicken parm with fries and gravy!!!

They didn’t have a lunch special. I’m not sure if the waiter was trying to be snotty or trying to behave more elegantly. But I would have appreciated more of relaxed, lighter Server. I love love love my salt. Love salty food! But the beef in the cheeseburgers were way way too salty. And my mushroom soup was too salty! That being said, I still would go back. Because it’s a nice, cozy restaurant. But you can’t relax too long anyways! Because they have signs on every table and you are well informed that you can not stay longer then 1 hour and 30 minutes. That’s the time limit they place, so that they can keep the tables rotating if it gets busy. But it was dead. Nobody else came in. We were the only people dining. So I was uncomfortable with that! I’d say go the extra mile to make people welcome! Offer some sort of complimentary piece of chocolate! Or a candy. And say, thank you so much for coming in today! Make a person feel like you appreciate their business.

We found this gem last summer when we visited Camrose. We had to go back and take our son and grandson as we loved the food and the people at the restaurant. The food is delicious, the staff are friendly, the restaurant is very clean and the prices are reasonable. Our son said this is the best meal that I have had in a long time . My grandson was too full to have dessert but they returned to the restaurant two days later before going home for his dessert. It is a busy place so make reservations!!
