Írjon visszajelzéstThis was the Manuka milk bar going back decades and it's nice that they keep the name (though not sure about the 'Down Town' bit - why don't they just call it the Manuka Milk Bar?) Greatly enjoyed my Saturday breakfast of fried eggs, sausage and cappuccino on the outside terrace in warm late March weather.
Gem of a milk bar that has been on business for decades. I had the best chicken schnitzel burger that I have had in years. Great coffee too
We were looking for a simple lunch. My husband loved the prawn sandwich and I had a wrap. Good coffee. Great location because almost just across the road from the movies. The people were friendly and there were papers to read. What more could you want on a wet day in Canberra?
Situated between trendy cafes Downtown offers same sort of food but significantly cheaper. Maybe not paying for the starched tablecloths saves money. Staff is friendly and prompt to your needs. Try the breaky burger and have a freshly squeezed juice of your choice. Coffee is excellent.Outside seating is beautiful now and can only get better as the weather warms up
Had an enjoyable lunch here on a recent Saturday. Plenty of fresh salads to choose from and great looking burgers, rolls and sandwiches. We opted for the pulled pork roll with coleslaw and mayonnaise for $9.50 each - really very nice and a good size. Service was friendly and quick. Sit outside watching the beautiful people walk past, or inside.
