Írjon visszajelzéstI tried a variety of pork dishes along with some sides, but ultimately opted for a beef brisket sandwich. Unfortunately, it was quite dry. On the positive side, the server was very friendly.
I inquired whether they were hiring for a friend, and a woman told me I could pick up an application. When I asked if that meant they were hiring, she said she couldn't provide that information but encouraged me to apply. Honestly, you might have better luck getting an on-the-spot interview at McDonald's or Wendy's, and they probably pay a few dollars more per hour anyway. Overall, I found their hiring service to be quite disappointing.
I had a strong craving for BBQ, so I decided to go to Hog Fathers, the nearest spot. I ordered the Backyard Special, which includes ribs, chicken, and sausage. It's honestly been a long time since I tasted food this disappointing. The black, squiggly bits under the ribs were meant to be peppers and onions, but they were unrecognizable. The charred block next to the chicken was supposed to be a sausage link, but it was far from appetizing. The chicken was so overly salty that I could barely eat it. Thankfully, the beans and coleslaw were decent; otherwise, I would have left hungry. I can only assume that the reason they staple the bag shut is to keep things from falling out—or maybe to hide what's inside.
Not brisket, more like a flank steak they set on fire for a few minutes before they handed it over. Mashed potatoes were not edible, Mac n cheese was like a poorly made easy Mac.
Great place for BBQ with a backyard style. I was traveling on vacation and went south of my area just to go to a Sonny's restaurant which I always liked. This place is just as good. Everything tasted great. Little too much salt on the sausage though it seemed. Had trouble choosing between menu items as they have some great selections.
