Pizzaz Italian - Canonsburg

Authentic pizza, very tasty and perfect crust! Great service!

Ate here on 8/5, and my bill was $37 and change. I left $45 in cash. It wasn’t until I left that I looked up the menu and calculate what my cost should have been… $29 for 6 wings $10), 2 soft drinks $6), and a steak wrap $13). No idea where that other $8 charge came from. They are definitely jacking up their prices and hoping you don’t notice! I certainly didn’t! Keep an eye out.

Food didn't appear to be fresh. Menu was underwhelming.

I ordered an Italian Hoagie and it come out burnt. With a very dry crumbling bun (the bun was more than dried almost like a biscotti), and burnt meat. They did give me my extra onion but forgot my side of dressing. The waitress brought me a new bun and the dressing and never came back for me to complain. I had to cut the burnt meat off my sandwich and rebuild my food. Finally, she came back after I finished eating when I could eat of my sandwich and I asked her what she could do for this inconvenience. She said she would speak to her manager which she did and they took it off my bill. I was there on an average Friday night. I saw a numerous people come in and leave and only a few waitresses. I saw one table never get the meal and left. Personally, I don’t know if I would ever come back again. Meanwhile, other peoples food look perfectly normal. My dad ordered the same meal as I did and his look delicious. My mom ordered a steak hoagie and she said it was wonderful, but never received her side of Italian dressing.

This sort of place is hard to give a review for the same reason it would be hard to review cheers. This is very much a local institution that serves as more than a restaurant to many of its customers. Excellent food, great prices, snd the service is exactly what it is suppos we d to be. Great job.
