This place is the real deal. I've been here for 25 years, and I'm going on until they betrayed my donut from my cold dead fingers. Oh, and the gun store next door is gone, and in his place is a comic book store, so better Vibes now?
Great donuts nice atmosphere and the management was really friendly
Plain Old Fashioned are to die for, especially if you get there early while they 're still warm crunchy on the outside, just like my Nana used to make 'em for me Dunkin can 't hold a candle to these delights
So I got 4 donuts....2 Boston creme 2 sprinkles...They put them in a bag that I took home to find the 2 boston cremes facing each other frosting to frosting...so one ended up with all the chocolate and one ended up in the garbage....I was going to let that go, but decided to call and find out why on earth they do this as a professional donut shop....when talking to the owner he stated they face them frosting to frosting so it won't get on the other donuts and they don't put them in a box unless you get six....he suggested I rub the donuts together to fix the situation....Im not the one making the donuts ,I'm the one buying the donuts. Also, the box apparently cost 14 cents and the bag is just 2 cents according to him...I would have gladly paid a premium on the box to not ruin a donut I just paid 1.25 for. Or here's another possible solution...maybe use wax paper between the donuts if they're all going in a bag.Customer Service is garbage exactly where my donut ended up.
