I mean that in a positive way. This is a well-run restaurant that would stand up favourably anywhere. Good menu selection, delicious food, friendly for couples or families.

The wait staff in both the dining room and café were very professional, attentive and polite. The food was tasty and well presented, and served quickly. For dinners I had a seafood risotto (4/5), fall-off-the bone pork shank with mash and beetroot (5/5), and perfectly cooked medium-rare fillet steak with pumpkin mash and fries (5/5). The buffet breakfast in the dining room was a bit expensive, but there was a good selection of hot food, fruit and healthy cereal alternatives, as well as squeeze-your-own juice. At Gran's Kitchen café I had a grilled fish with a flavoursome fresh salad (4/5). I can't wait to eat here again. NB: dining room open for breakfast and dinner; café open for late brunch/lunch (a la carte) and light snacks 9am-4pm.

The food was average for the money but the staff was very attentive and friendly. The breakfast buffet looked amazing, but it was very expensive. I personally could not eat $41 worth of food for breakfast.

Our anniversary dinner at the restaurant was special. Food, service and drinks were excellent. The salmon was cooked superbly and tasted beautiful. The slow cooked pork shank was fantastic.Just remember to take breakfast (and other food) if you don't want to dine at in the dining room.
