Írjon visszajelzéstAs a lifelong lover of flautas, dating back to my first visit to a Mexican restaurant in Texas many years ago, I have to say I've never encountered one quite like this! The chicken was perfectly seasoned and moist, while the tortilla was light and airy, even when fried. It was topped with fresh avocado, cotija cheese, and sour cream, along with a side of iceberg salad featuring fresh tomatoes. However, the salad was a bit past its prime, although it was still enjoyable. The two salsas—one green and crisp, the other orange and spicy—complemented every bite wonderfully. The agua frescas were delicious as well; both the melon and coconut/pecan flavors were perhaps a tad too sweet to finish even a small serving, but they were definitely a delightful treat. I don’t think I’ll order a flauta again, though.
We found the food to be satisfactory, but we felt that the Flautas were overpriced at $6.45 for just four pieces. The small Horchata was also disappointing and priced high at $2.75. Overall, we don't regret our decision.
This restaurant offers a wide variety of delicious options, all at reasonable prices. We will definitely be back. We especially enjoyed the tortas, flautas, and elotes.
Are you kidding me? This bar is definitely a landmark in Canutillo. It opened back in 1974, and it was the spot for the Eagles' Class of '88. You know it!
