Rayfield Fountain - Cape Charles

Rayfields offers old-time counter service. Pancakes are huge and breakfasts are substantial. Note, they don't offer turkey or plant based protein, so be prepared for all-pork, all the time.

Old fashioned soda fountain- good size portions and the food was delicious.

A really nice place to get breakfast. Home town feel. Not fancy just a satisfying meal in nice surroundings.We stopped in Cape Charles overnight during a road trip. Pretty place. Many small businesses like this one. We will visit again.

Was recommended this place by other fellow visitors to Cape Charles. My husband and I showed up at 9 am and asked to sit at the counter where there were plenty of seats. The waitress told us they weren’t taking any more diners because they had a full house and were closing at 11 am…
