Panera Bread - Cape Coral

The staff who interact with customers are friendly and clearly take pride in their work. Unfortunately, the food did not meet the same standard. The cooks at this Panera seem to be careless; I spent thirty dollars, including tip, for two sandwiches that were excessively salty and lacking in ingredients. The tomatoes were pale and obviously not fresh. Next time I visit, I’ll likely just take photos of the meal for another review. I really hope the food improves.

I ordered a grilled cheese sandwich and a cup of French onion soup for delivery. When my order arrived, the grilled cheese was burnt and the bread was completely black. The soup was primarily broth, with very few onions and hardly any cheese. It was disappointing and inedible. I called the restaurant to express my concerns and was assured a refund would be processed within 48 hours, but I never received it. Since they use DoorDash for deliveries, I contacted DoorDash, only to be informed that the restaurant needed to handle the refund. I called the restaurant again and was told a refund would be issued within three days, but again, nothing happened. I was surprised because I had heard good things about Panera Bread, but my experience was far from satisfactory. There was no refund, and the person who answered the phone was quite rude. Proceed with caution—I won't be dining there again.

AVOID IF YOU HAVE ALLERGIES. We regularly order lunch from Panera, as their ingredients are usually quality. However, almost every time, the staff includes items we've explicitly requested to omit and forget to add what we asked for. Make sure to inspect your salad carefully before eating; what you receive may not match what you ordered at all.

This is my local Panera bread and I have given them multiple opportunities to get not only our to go orders right but to have items in stock.We have been ordering from here since they opened. This location seems to have run out of French Baquettes and other ingredients as well. Every time we want to order baguettes, they do not have them. Not only that, I was told that they do not have a brioche bun for their new Chicken take sandwich and that they couldn't substitute the bread. Meanwhile, I?m hearing their employees offer other to go orders the option of choosing another kind of bread for that same sandwich. Why was I not given this option? They basically lied to my face. No matter what time of day I have ordered from here, they mess up our order or we have to order something different because they cannot adjust their menu items. The pictures are from our order tonight. The first picture only has three small pieces of chicken for the pick two salad which is completely different then the same salad ordered last week in store. The second picture is supposed to be a large salad. $12 later for a small salad. Grilled cheese was burnt on the inside with the bread hardly cooked. I have never had a problem at any other Panera Bread. Very unhappy with this location since it opened.

Christine was a joy to chat with while she rang up my order. Cinnamon crunch bagel was moist and delicious. The new Strawberry Mint lemonade was really tasty too!
