Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Love cracker barrel every time we go. Food is always good, you can order breakfast all day long. Always enjoy the walk through shopping. You also have nostalgia candy and snacks that will bring you back to childhood memories. I always get cinnamon sticks.

Well the service was excellent and the food was extremely tasty! Only complaint or suggestion would be to add omelets and maybe something lower cal. I ended up with the new strawberry cheesecake pancakes which were amazing!! But very fattening. If they had egg white omelets I would have gone with that instead. I don't usually eat like that but lack of options and being hungry as a bear I went the less healthy route (totally my choice, no one forced me lol)

Waitress was awesome! Great service and good food. Certain pieces of the chicken strips I got were tough to bite off and chew, similar to beef jerky, but as someone who 's worked in food service it just happens sometimes when making them in bigger batches. That 's the only thing I 'd really have to say negetively about my experience though. The staff there are hard working and make your stay comfortable and enjoyable over a nice meal. Definitely will be giving them more business in the future!

4 stars over all to the restaurant: Waitress 5 stars Quality of food 4 stars Management 2 stars Avg 3.667 4 stars It was about 20 minutes from after being seated we were waited on and it wasn 't busy at the time of our arrival. The waitress we had was amazing, especially since she didn 't have our table and was taking extra tables since someone didn 't come in, she apologized and made up for the wait we had. She was quick on getting our drinks and food and made sure we had refills. Alexandra was her name I believe. My wife and I enjoyed her as our waitress, she was very sweet, and she worked very hard. 5 stars for her and give her a raise! Businesses need more hard workers like her. Our food was good, could have been better but I understand times during being short staffed and such. Pancakes tasted older like they had been sitting out for awhile, hashbrown casserole was a bit over cooked from previous visits. Other than this the food was great. I give 4 stars to the quality of food and drinks! During the busy hustle and short staff (staff not showing up for their shift , I saw a younger gal in a red polo (seemed to be a manager or of importance just standing around watching and not helping, literally the only worker just standing there not doing anything. Now I don 't understand the hierarchy at Cracker Barrel and what each person 's role should be, but to me having any worker just standing there is poor management and if she was a manager she should be helping more. Just sad to see everyone else rushing around tending to customers and this lady just stands and watches everything, she should either be given training on customer service or demoted. I give 2 stars to poor management and a single lazy worker but hey at least she showed up to work unlike others who didn 't today. Again I don 't understand what each person 's role is, I 'm just stating what I saw and I 'm sure others did as well.

Our server was excellent! Phillip consistently refilled our drinks and was always available when we needed him. He even assisted the kids in choosing their meals with some great recommendations. I was truly impressed by how he managed to make us feel like we were the only table he was serving, despite the restaurant being quite busy. The only downside was that it was a bit chilly by the window, but everything else was perfect. The food was delicious, as always, and arrived quickly. Every dish, from the pancakes to the grilled cheese and fried pork steak, tasted just like home-cooked meals. Prices were reasonable, though my kids can't resist stopping by the store without picking up something.
