Main Street Station - Cape Girardeau

I had the BBQ Bacon Burger along with fries and onion rings, and it was fantastic! They even have PEPSI on tap, which is a nice surprise in a Coca-Cola-heavy area. The place has a lot of charm: arcade games, snacks, and nostalgic memories displayed on the walls, not to mention ICE CREAM! Ron, the owner, takes care of everything, but if you need something else, just ask and he'll make it happen. Plus, this spot is welcoming to both the hungry and the community it serves. This place is incredible! The owner is truly the most charming person you could meet and deserves all the success in the world. They feature live music on weekends, and it’s always fantastic. The food and drinks are incredibly affordable! The pizza is delicious, and the French dip is outstanding as well! Plus, they offer Tarot card readings on weekends, which is such a unique and cool experience! It’s the best bar in Cape!

Beautiful little local jewel. Great food drinks, excellent service, live local bands, what could you ask for more? A very refreshing breath of fresh air for downtown Cape. Look at the house, you're not leaving!

Delicious Daiquiris are the highlight of this place. They offer a nice selection of beer and spirits. The service is excellent, and the owner has a fun, lively personality and can often be heard cheering everyone on outside. It has a charming New Orleans neighborhood bar atmosphere. The live music is spot on, featuring great bands and a lively crowd. With fantastic drinks, tasty subs, and an Italian menu, this is a perfect spot to relax and enjoy on the Cape.

We actually stayed a the loft above Main Street Station for a few days just for the experience. It was amazing! The owner is incredibly down to earth. I honestly would love to rent out the loft for a while and just live there. It's right in the middle of downtown, perfect for tourists. Oh! And it has everything you could possibly need while away from home. Deserves way more than 5 stars!
