Asoka Restaurant, Bar And Lounge

The decor, music, and atmosphere greatly enhanced our dining experience. Our server, Taylor, was exceptionally attentive. The chili garlic prawns were amazing; I could enjoy a bowl of that sauce any day!

Asoka focuses on small plates meant for sharing, which initially didn't impress my mother. However, she changed her mind after trying the first course. We started with the prawn tempura and a mezze platter. The mezze was absolutely divine, and I regretted not choosing it as I only got three prawns since it was a starter portion. For our second course, we chose a poke bowl, calamari, and ostrich fillet, all of which were delicious. For our final course, my sister ordered the west coast mussels, while I opted for the butternut, spinach, and Parmesan gnocchi. My parents chose the braised lamb shoulder. Everything was flavorful and beautifully presented. Overall, it was worth every penny and quite affordable. I loved that I could sample so many well-prepared dishes. Our waitress was efficient and polite, adding to the enjoyable experience.

I've visited Asoka three times, and I have thoroughly enjoyed everything about it – the food, the atmosphere, and the service.

My partner and I visited Asoka on a date night, and what a great choice in restaurant it turned out to be. The interior is beautifully decorated and loved how the trees were incorporated into the interior. It was a rainy evening so the fireplace created a nice and cozy vibe as well. The waiting staff were professional and service was good. But the food is the real star of the show. Absolutely loved every plate we ordered, compliments to the kitchen! We will definitely be back. Thank you for a great evening and amazing food.
