La Corte Dei Prefetti Di Vico

It's a nice place. But it seems like they have a second menu for foreigners which is way more expensive than I thought it would be.

We were spending a weekend in Ronciglione and our landlady recommended La Corte dei Prefetti di Vico among other places. We were immediately taken by the location and the view, but hadnt expected such wonderful food. It was tasty and fresh and we were shown the mushrooms before they were cooked. The pasta was homemade and light and delicious. We were not in a rush and this is not food to be rushed, in fact we spent most of the afternoon talking to the owner Gino, whose mother is the cook , and his wife and Daniel who was working there. Everything was delicious and we were well advised re our choices. We are from Barcelona, London and Edinburgh. We meant to go back but actually were not very hungry the next day ! and the final day went to the lake sorry Gino! . We had such fun here and such wonderful food, the service was excellent and we definitely recommend this very special restaurant.

We visited the restaurant with our family. The food was just excellent from antipasti, primi, main course and dessert. We ordered with 4 people different meals and all were very different and special! The service was also very friendly and for us, not speaking Italian a relief to have a good English speaking owner. We had a great evening in a great Ambiente!

We had the best food at La Corte Dei Prefetti. Proffessional service with a personal touch, high quality fresh local ingredients a very attractive menu. Pasta, meat, deserts to die for! We were several couples from different nationalities: kuwait, Barcelona, London. We all agrees it was the best meal in Tuscia for the whole week! The owner at the front and his mother in the kitchen come up with the best local food. The terrace is a beautiful “belvedere” into Ronciglione, a good example of an old Tuscian town. Inside it keeps a nice flavour of a classy and old place. They even have an amazing suite nect door to sleep in and to have a meal served at the same time in a very romantic setting. We will be back!

If you're looking for any tractor, it's not for you. but if you look for a place where nothing is left to chance then you have to try it! All homemade! owner very kind and ready to explain each dish made with yeast mother. a wine cellar to be missed a day. we took a pig with potatoes in myrtle. Superlative! Soft and crisp never eaten so good! sweets well explained by menu and varied for each goto. to try absolutely! I've been living here for years and I can say that in the area it has no equals! and if you're in the area..
