Chez Gaby Les Retrouvailles - Carantec

In view of its location directly on the beach, this place could probably get away with something pretty bad eating. Instead, our lunch yesterday was excellent! not eating fine, but a fun beach dining place. very good fish and chips, w a large piece of cod and...good pommes, excellent tartaric acid sauce, a decent crepe, really spiced salate, a very good pina colada and glass muscadet, good ice, real coffee. the waitress was helpful, polite, ready to take care of us despite a very busy day.

We sat here at 17.30 a.m. when our ferry was checked in at 7.30 a.m. the woman had uttered and smiling. both good. I had bland accras and a bland burger. plus two average child meal and a bottle kerné cider. €67 ... beautiful location.

We love carantec and have some picturesque vacation here. we often continue to st pol, roscoff etc. but this time we stopped at chez gaby earlier in the week for crepp and a coffee. we have returned. tonight for our last meal, before we return to the united kingdom tomorrow. weeping and apple wine were great. Between us we had burgers, mosquitoes, fish and chips and a cream were all perfectly cooked and quickly arrived. we followed with a series of deserts and coffees all were excellent. when the bill arrived, it was a pleasant surprise and excellent value for money! the personal is welcoming and I can recommend chez gaby very much!

Everyone seems to come here for the mushes and they are gorgeous. the only reason why I gave four stars is that the manager pushed us near the back instead of the table we wanted that was empty all the time. the waiter was great and. the location is brilliant, right on a beautiful beach. also, unusual, it is open throughout the day for drinks and crepes. we had ankles for a beginner a real throw back to my childhood! definitely worth a visit.

We stayed in Carantec for a week and ate at Gaby's 4 nights, could not fault the food or the service (The French like to do things at a steady pace), would recommend this restaurant/cafe. Beautiful location and serve food all day which is not...comman place in France.
