Pettinato's - Carbondale

I went there last Saturday with my parents and my friend. This place is a hidden gem if someone is looking for a non-hurried romantic evening or even just a relaxing night with friends or family, this place is exactly the right fit. Friendly staff and delicious food! Also very courteous they had a Veal Piccata on special, and I asked if they could take me a Chicken Piccata (my absolute favorite) and they did it without problems and the chicken was excellent. Also I was hesitant to order only one vegetable as a side, but I was so impressed! Everyone has to order the green beans without hesitation because it was the perfect amount with the perfect season. Prices are equally reasonable. I'm a food and I love this place, can't wait to go back!

I stopped for dinner and drinks on the 26th. I had the Clam Linguine and Oh my God!! It was 5 stars and more, I can't wait to do it again. As always the restaurant was immaculate, the staff were on site and so friendly. Today it is so rare to find a place that has both delicious food and a great atmosphere. Don't take my word, stop it!

My wife and I both ordered the Veal Piccata, and it was the best veal I've ever had! It was so tender that I could cut it with a fork! The drinks, service, food, and desserts were all excellent!

Pettinato is the best-kept secret in Carbondale. It has a cozy and inviting atmosphere, and the food is reminiscent of Grandma's cooking—only better! The calzone is amazing, and the eggplant parmesan is a must-try! The staff is exceptionally friendly and makes you feel right at home.

My family has been coming to Pettinato's since as far back as my great grandparents. The atmosphere is great, and the food- especially the meatballs and the chicken in butter and garlic- is excellent. The staff is also really nice.
