Espresso Lab - Cardiff

Well I can’t say the ladies server were rude... but more the service was non existent. No please, thank you, hello etc. The sandwich I ordered looks like it was made by a bear. There was little chicken in the sandwich just semi stale bread that was in several pieces and lots of salad. I genuinely expect a sandwich like that to come with an apology. But no, not even a “thank you” or a “have a nice day”. I would strongly recommend the owner invests in some mystery shoppers because my experience was poor and I won’t return. The 2 stars is for the coffee which was delicious!

This charming café serves a variety of hot and cold drinks, food items, cakes, and snacks. While the prices may be slightly higher, the experience is definitely worth it. Situated in a fantastic location, especially convenient for those working nearby. Highly recommended!

This restaurant is a charming little spot with unique seating upstairs, complete with board games and books. The juices and cupcakes are delicious, perfect for a relaxing and enjoyable experience.

It might have changed a bit by now. I used to pop in regularly on my way to work. Some of the staff members took quite a long time to get a coffee made, but they tasted great once done. The decor is nice brick interior with low lighting. There are patio doors that open up into the street in the summer. Nice.

Lovely little cafe serving great coffee, and amazing array of cupcakes and sweet treats, fresh juices and smoothies.. In a lovely setting.. We’ll be back..
