The Crofts - Cardiff

I stayed at this restaurant for one night and found the single person room to be the perfect size with a comfortable double bed. The view from the window was beautiful and the room itself was impeccable. There are separate entrances to the bar where guests can enjoy breakfast for a small fee. My only complaint was the temperature of the room - it was very hot and there was no air conditioning or fan available. I had trouble opening the window as well, making me feel a bit closed in. I ended up running cold water in the bathroom to try and cool down. Despite this issue, the room was lovely and I felt very comfortable. It had everything I needed in a compact space. I would definitely stay here again, but would hope for better temperature control in the future.

Stayed here for the night with a friend and can safely say it is a hidden gem. clean, beautiful, modern suits and delicious, authentic pub food. super simple check-in process and only 10 minutes by car from the city center. thank you so that they will take care of us and feel so welcome! if I find myself in cardiff again, I will come back here definitiw.

What a scum. the check-in was very easy as the details were sent before our arrival. the staff advise where we park and we had no problems with two cars. we were in the rooms 7 and 8 and they were immaculae. very clean, comfortable beds and perfect for our stay. the situation was right. 2o minutes to walk and they are in the center. the breakfast was excellent and very good value. and finally thanks to the staff. they are amazing. friendly, chatting and knowledgeable. helps them on any way and wise how they can. the locals in the bar are very friendly and welcome them too. oscar must mention the dog so kind. also crofty the papagei. I didn't see the cat. recommend this hotel and stay here in future when we visit cardiff.

Popped down here for the first time tonight for a cheeky pint and a game of pool and can't speak highly enough of this place! Lovely land lady, beautiful pool tables, super cool parrot

Been nearly 20 years since last visting this pub.. fresh clean, staff friendly and polite. Wont leave it that long for the next visit..
