Pakta Restaurante - Carhuaz

The menu in Pakta has some fascinating offers, and the execution of the dishes is competent and not stunning. Waitstaff is undertrained; we were there on the early side, and server could not match the two tables with which he (possibly 7 diners total). For Carhuaz, however, this can be a good restaurant. It is on the second floor at the address, so easy to go past when you use Google Maps.

I ate here with two friends. The first question we asked was all available on the menu, the answer was yes. The first thing we ordered was not available, although an alternative was offered. We ordered beer and fries as an appetizer. The beer lasted 15 minutes to materialize and the frits were not delivered until after the net, which lasted another 45 minutes. I could understand that when it was busy, but there was only another group of six in the restaurant. I ordered the chicken burger with avocado and sweet potatoes, but I got a beef burger without avocado and potato fries. When I asked why I said 'Treue is Friday, so there are no sweet potatoes '. After reference to the Generoso Burger was thought to chicken and avocado her back to the kitchen about 10 minutes later it finally came back as described. We all enjoyed our meals, but the service leaves much to be desired, especially for the high prices they charge.

We went to Pakta on the first night of our stay in Carhuaz and had to come back every evening! Excellent food and presentation doubled with first-class service, what more could you ask! These guys are definitely chefs. Walter is lovable and with him all his hostile experience from Lima. You can feel all this at Pakta for very reasonable Carhuaz price. Thank you and stop it!

Great food-traditional with a creative twist; beautiful presentation. Great attention to detail, the owner is very patient and personal. A delightful experience.
