Írjon visszajelzéstJust happen to notice this Cafe as we were driving past and decide to give it a go. Chris (owner/chef) and his team were very friendly. We had one of the nicest chicken parmigiana, chips and salad meals we've ever had followed by amazing desert! To boot there is great view back to the city, we will definitely be back.
If one thing went wrong, EVERYTHING went wrong. Firstly, it took an hour for our first meal to come out which was ok, but not great. It then took another 20 mins for our second meal to come out and it had a big dirty hair buried in it! When we took it back up to show them, the chef came out and not only did he NOT apologise, he fought with us and insinuated that we had planted it there!!! In between all of this I went to use the bathroom, to which there was no toilet paper. When I told the waitress there was no toilet paper, she just said sorry and didn't offer to get any...I'm heavily pregnant so was in desperate need of a toilet!!! Absolutely THE WORST cafe. Terrible service on all accounts.
Our first visit this morning for breakfast (Saturday morning). Advertised opening time was 6:30 am. We arrived at 7:15 am at the same time as another couple. There were no other customers in the cafe. The tables and chairs were still packed away inside and the footpath dining area had not been swept or cleaned from the day before, as there were leaves and empty sugar packets lying around on the ground outside the entrance. The whole place looked untidy inside and outside. There was only one male staff member in the cafe and he seemed rather flustered. We placed our meal order as did the other couple, then a family of four also arrived and ordered. All of the coffee orders for the three groups were made first before any cooking started. Our meals arrived first but took more than 30 minutes to arrive. We were impressed with our coffees and the meals were also very good. Our only observation would be to have more than one staff member taking orders, making the coffees, waiting on the tables, and cooking the food. Also, the outside dining area should have been swept, cleaned, and setup before customers started arriving. It's not easy running a small business but you need to impress your customers if you want them to keep coming back.
We tried this little café over the weekend. Not been here before. It was very informal dining, not quite as expected. Staff were friendly particularly the chef. Food was quite nice. We tried the Tapas plates. We had the Mooloolaba Prawns, Fried Chicken with coleslaw and salsa, and the Pork Tacos. We really enjoyed the Tacos mostly. The Two chicken drumsticks fried with a small portion of coleslaw
Exquisite food, but service a bit slow! We booked a table with some friends for Friday night hoping to share some tapas. We arrived to find that the chef was the only person working in the restaurant and most of the tapas menu was not available. We did have some lovely empanadas and delicious main meals instead but it did take a while.
