Cafe Cumberland - Carlisle

This is a fantastic spot hidden in downtown Carlisle. I had the best sandwich I've ever tasted here, and I would absolutely recommend it—10/10!

There two gentlemen who make the food. Had the crab soup and was amazing. Had chicken salad with coleslaw. Marble Rye bread. There were 3 of us and we all recommend this place.

I can't comment on the food as I didn't get to try it. I visited the food truck by the PX but was turned away because I arrived at 10:28 instead of 10:30.

I stopped at this restaurant while traveling between Virginia and home, and it was definitely worth the 9-minute detour from Route 81. Instead of grabbing fast food, take the time to enjoy a delicious and quick meal. This place offers homemade goodness just a short distance from the highway! I highly recommend it for its fantastic food, friendly customer service, and reasonable prices.

I paid over $25 for a meal that was not worth it. My friends grilled cheese wrap was cold and she broke her braces trying to eat on half of it. My broccoli cheese soup was terrible the broccoli was hard and brown and old looking and my chicken salad had a no seasoning flavor very plain. I was embarrassed to go and spend money for food like this .
