Carlsbad Danish Bakery

This local restaurant offers attentive service! They have a touchless payment option, which is great. I found it interesting that the bakery didn't have the tip option available during this period of "tipflation." Quite surprising!

This bakery is fantastic! They offer the most delightful Scandinavian pastries. My favorite is the rainbow bar, especially when it’s available. The almond croissant is another highlight—it's perfectly flaky and heavenly. If you’re in the mood for something more traditional, their flourless chocolate cake is wonderfully indulgent. It’s so rich that just a small piece is satisfying. It pairs wonderfully with a nice glass of red wine.

Called today and asked a few questions about different dessert options only to be told after asking you who I would speak to about a custom order that they might be tearing the building down. But they were not sure. You might want to coach your staff because that's pretty startling that you may or may not be tearing some thing down, just doesn't seem to make sense to tell your clients if you don't actually know it's happening. I don't think I would be ordering anything from here because the team there who seems very young does not seem to be reliable.

Bakery was super cute and small, driven by dozens of times and never noticed. Went in for cupcakes. They were big and delicious. My kids loved them. $36 for a dozen, not bad for taste and size. Would recommend and will be visiting again.

Charming bakery with fantastic pastries! We only had one day in Carlsbad, otherwise I would have loved to try their entire menu. The espresso was decent, but nothing exceptional—at least it was served in a ceramic cup! On the downside, it wasn't very visually appealing (see photo). Also, be aware that they don't have restrooms. Overall, I would definitely love to visit again someday! 5 stars.
