Írjon visszajelzéstWe had a lovely evening celebrating our anniversary at Ember and Rye. From the cocktail the mixologist made for us at the bar, to the final bite of dessert, the event was memorable. Thank you!
Lovely patio dining overlooking the golf course. Food was amazing as was the service. Relaxed setting, the wait staff was very attentive and made us feel welcome. The signature drinks were fabulous, and we highly recommend trying some of them!
Granted it was a Monday night, but all things considered, that is no excuse for a restaurant like this. First, parking was a horrible experience. They did away with valet and do not control the golf course parking, making it a nightmare to park. The server, Jeremiah, was great. The beef skewer appetizers were extremely salty and tough. Three of us had the cedar planked salmon and all agreed, it was cooked well but super bland. The broccoli and grilled carrots were terrible. Cold and soaked in what appeared to be kilo man's soy sauce or some generic balsamic. Lastly, the monkey bread dessert, usually fresh and warm and delicious, was dry, cold, and terrible. Seemed like they were leftovers. Very disappointed.
Went here for a birthday celebration on a Tuesday night. We arrived just before 6pm. We had an outdoor table, and we were the only ones on the patio for a good long while. The view is dreamy. You are transported to another place. It was such a nice surprise to have the savory croissants. For the rest of our meal, we had:-Avocado tostada-Burger with 3x cooked fries-Grilled lobster-Grilled snap peas with kimchi aioli-German chocolate cakeThe croissants and the avocado tostada were our favorites. We also liked the our entrees as well. It was a nice change to have the snap peas in aioli. We were hoping the fries would be exactly like the fries (for fish and chips dish) at California English. They were close, but not identical. At the end, our server treated us to a birthday dessert of German Chocolate cake. That cake was huge, and delicious!Hats off to our server who was always cheerful, and managed to show up at the right times. We will definitely come back here. Some of the items on the menu are pricey, while other items are within reason. If anything, come here for some snacks, and enjoy the view. It is like taking a mini-vacation at this restaurant.
Honestly terrible by all standards. Chef is trying to make things so complex without any mastery. Best example is the butter like Béarnaise beauty of cooking starts with simplicity. Broccoli drenched in some sauce ... Corn Crème Brûlée (sweet and sugary). Back to basics ...
