Although they aren't open every weekday (we can't have it all, can we?), their pastries are worth the wait. The staff is friendly, using quality ingredients even in their simple sandwiches, and the atmosphere is cozy with options for both indoor and patio seating. Don’t listen to the skeptics; most of us recognize that this bakery serves delightful and surprising food that is worth every penny. Whether you're a local or just visiting Carlsbad, be sure not to miss this incredible establishment.

The croissant I had was the best I've ever tasted—chocolate almond. Delightful and unexpected dishes are hidden away in an industrial park, crafted by a talented French chef who creates incredible pastries. It wasn't inexpensive, but it was definitely worth it.

Very cute and quaint bakery! The food is really good and it's a nice place to stop by in the morning for a sandwich or quick pastry. Definitely a place to try!
