High quality French cuisine crossed over with Spanish tapas. Staff are friendly and make you feel like at home.
I went there in June with a Groupon deal. The atmosphere was very strange, it was all very quiet. The main thing is that it appeared as a fine dining restaurant but it wasn't. The service was friendly. However, my partner and I were very disappointed with the food. It came way too quickly and lacked taste. The rabbit was too dry and the crepe and soup were cold. The desserts were nice. Although the service was great, I don't recommend the food. I come from France and the food hardly tasted "french"..
I bought a voucher to go down to this restaurant. I am not sure whether it is because of western culture (that was lunch time, not dinner time) or because of their business anyway, it is empty when we stepped in. And until we stepped out, we only had one other table accompany with us.The whole service and environment feels elegant. We had French cuisine before. Of our impression, French cuisine is always like that, let people feel elegant when have the meal.Maybe we had a higher expectation to the food to match with this service and environment. But unfortunately, the food were not interesting at all. Main foods are all around and above $30. Whereas the taste are just so so ... Maybe I was too nitpick to taste of food. The rump steak we ordered was so hard to be cut. Every one of our family tried a small block, chewing for a while then spitted out. Another main, Snapper En Paupiette, I don't think it cooked better than myself. Another two types of western noodle, I can't have any impression. When we finished the meal, I asked my two boys to vote what dish they tasted today was the best (We always share our dish among family members so that every one have chance to taste different dish of cooking). They both told me that the food they like the most today is the free bread before meal and the soup. Anyway we are not regret to come down. Because it was a kind of experience. We like to experience different things and cultures. I think to this restaurant, we had already experienced but nothing can let us miss it to back to it again.
We visited this restaurant when it was the "French Food Art". Returning on a Cudo voucher we were warmly greeted by the waiter and ushered to our seats.Service was efficient and we were soon offered the menu. The selected entrees were Garlic Tiger Prawns in a delicious Beurre Blanc Sauce and for mains we both selected a very tasty Viva La Lamb Tagine.Crème Brule followed by coffees completed the meal.I must say the service and meals were great but there were very few traditional French meals on the menu. I appreciate it is a Fusion restaurant but a few more authentic items would be ideal.
