Donatos Pizza - Carmel

The staff is friendly and they offer gluten-free pizza! It comes loaded with plenty of pepperoni. Overall, it's a satisfying and straightforward meal at a reasonable price.

The sweatshirt worn by one of the employees summed it all up: "Read My Shirt, I Don't Care." My husband is a big fan of Donato's Pizza, but this location has really declined. Our orders are frequently incorrect (like tonight when we had to return for our wings), and the employees are quite rude and seem indifferent. This has been the situation for the past year. We’ve decided to drive further just to find a different Donato's location.

I gave this restaurant three chances, and each time they disappointed me. During my first visit, they forgot part of our order. When I called to address the issue, no one seemed able to assist me, and they promised that a manager would reach out. I never received that call. The second time, my food arrived three hours late and was ice cold, as if it had been left out in the snow. Once again, the manager was supposed to contact me, but I never heard back. On my third visit, the food arrived on time, but both of our pizzas were clearly dropped. Save your money and try a different place instead.

Ordered The Works pizza. Pizza looked nothing like the picture. The toppings were very sparse. Looked more like a Dominos pizza but cost twice as much. Expected more for a specialty pizza. There was also an odd aftertaste with the pizza. Service wasgood. Pizza bad.

Second time we have ordered from Donatos, pizza is good, but it would be nice if they showed up hot. For 35 bucks, it should be hot. Not room temperature considering the store is less than 5 minutes away.
