Texas Roadhouse - Carmel

Food wasn't bad. Caesar dressing had almost no flavor. Server was rude. My husband asked about beer pricing...major attitude!!!! Then she had no idea what the cost of beer that he wanted was on top of not seeming knowledgeable on the drinks in general. Part of your job is answering questions regarding menu. Everytime anyone asked for something she gave a dirty look. We payed on the machine at the table way before we were done eating. I didn't have enough cash for her tip so my husband put some on the card and I was leaving the rest in cash. My husband thinks she thought that was her only tip because we didn't see her at all after that. I had to asked twice for a drink. My husband had to ask other servers for dressing etc... It got to the point that what tip was on the card was her only tip.

I usually go to TRH in Fishers but tonight my wife and I went this TRH and was very disappointed. I ordered 8 oz. NY Strip steak and my wife ordered a 6 oz. Sirloin. She got a 6 oz. Sirloin and I got a 8 oz. Sirloin instead of a NY Strip like I ordered. I ask waitress if she was sure this was an 8 oz NY Strip and she said I think so but never offered to check. I 've ate NY Stip steaks my entire life and could tell it wasn 't. So I cut into it and it was under cooked but I didn 't feel like waiting for waitress to come back and wait for another steak so I ate it. Or should say tried to eat it. Between the grisly texture and under cooked meat I just figured to hell with it. Next time I 'll go to TRH Fishers where I never have had a problem.

My family of 8 went in Friday night after graduation and ordered 7 steaks. I have never been to a place that got the temp correct on 2 at the same table let alone 7. Huge props to whomever made the steaks May 26th after 9pm! I eat here a lot and my porterhouse Friday was the best I’ve ever had in my life.

Everything was great besides the steak. The steak had gone cold from sitting, although the sides were perfect. And they don't give you rolls until your food comes out now... first the peanuts, now they're stripping us of our rolls.
