They were quick to start again and it was perfectly medium rare, however tough and not seasoned well. They remedied this time by taking it off the check. My friends had Halibut that was dry but very tasty. We're locals but won't be back soon
This used to be a go to place for us in Carmel Valley. Gorgeous atmosphere with spectacular views, friendly guests. Now with small, lower quality entrees over $50 ea. and few smaller choices (Used to love the crab cakes), we felt ripped off.
My husband and I took a friend for dinner. The Valley Kitchen has many different areas of seating, inside and outside. All are lovely no matter the weather. They have a new chef, the food and size of portions are perfect. Kids and dogs are always welcome. Great fun and food.
The menu has changed again! There are some pluses and minuses! The crab toast was a welcome addition.
Loved both the buttermilk fried chicken and grilled ahi tuna sandwiches.
