In my opinion, this is the best deli in town! Everything is incredibly fresh, quick, and delicious. I highly recommend trying the roast beef on a sourdough roll—it was amazing!

Despite our efforts to confirm via email, the provided address consistently failed to work, and our messages were rejected. This prompted us to call again just to ensure everything was arranged correctly. On the day of the wedding, my wife went to pick up the order at 10 AM, only to be told they had no record of it. When she explained the confirmation she received, the staff member was rude and asked if she had emailed them. My wife attempted to explain the email issue, but was interrupted with dismissive remarks. Eventually, after some back-and-forth, the woman returned to ask if the order was under our name, which it was. They then informed us they would start preparing the order. To sum it up, the service we received was unprofessional and rude. They were not willing to listen to our explanation, and it turns out they had the order all along! This incident caused significant stress on our wedding day, and while the food was ultimately good, the experience left a sour taste. I cannot recommend this business at all. They are disorganized, unresponsive, and unfriendly, which was incredibly disappointing as it set a negative tone for our special day.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Fifth Avenue Deli, and I was really impressed by their delicious sandwiches! I ordered an Italian sub and a club sandwich, and both were fantastic. We placed our order over the phone, and our sandwiches were ready for pickup just about 10 minutes later. Although they accidentally made the club sandwich on the wrong type of bread, it was still very tasty! We also tried a small portion of broccoli salad, which was quite good. The staff were friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. Overall, I highly recommend Fifth Avenue Deli to anyone looking for a great sandwich in Carmel. They offer a wide range of options, and I can't wait to go back and explore more of their menu!
