The best Dairy Queen in the country! I always make it a point to eat here whenever we return to Carmi.

Hats off to the staff who were working on a holiday. They showed great patience as I tried to place my order while carloads of screaming children became increasingly louder, demanding something different from what they had just asked for moments earlier. Although I noticed they forgot something, I felt guilty saying anything, even when we returned for dessert a second time, despite some of the backseat passengers not being deserving of it. I wish there was indoor seating; it looks like a lovely Dairy Queen, but we ended up eating in the car.

My mom really enjoyed the Flamethrower Burger, and I loved the fries. I tried the new Sinner Berry and Cherry Beats, which were fantastic! I appreciate how DQ constantly offers new flavors. My only complaint is that they never repeat back the orders, and no one says thank you when you pay. I always make an effort to wish the cashier a nice day or evening. It would be nice if they could acknowledge that with a simple "thank you."
