Manny’s Café - Carol Stream

Let me start by saying absolutely awesome people that work here. They understand cusotmer service and put the customer first. I order a veggie omelet with American cheese and they had a coupon for 20% online. Very reasonably price and don't over inflat there prices due to covid. I wish we had more establishment like this. Food was excellent and ingredients were fresh. Portion size was perfect for the price. I recommend if you want a good breakfast at a great price, come too Manny's Cafe. I promise they will not let you down.

The food was very delicious! Farm to fresh food. Manny and the staff were very kind and attentive. Manny came over to the table afterwards and said hi and asked our opinion about the great food. He was super friendly. The waitress was very nice, and made sure we were taken care of. The place is small, but that did not matter to me and the group I went with. The food is delicious and you can tell it was made with care- no burnt food or overdone veggies like you get at those fast paced breakfast places. I’m glad we found this place! It’s a definitely a gem.

We ordered eggs Benedict, smoked salmon Benedict and a tall stack of chocolate chip pancakes. (Thank you to the reviewer that posted the menu! Online menus didn’t have the entire menu available. Mom says the eggs Benedict and potatoes are a 5/5. I agree with the salmon benny. (The salmon benny being the reason we chose this place. I would suggest adding an avocado or fresh tomatoes to the top of the salmon Benny but all in all, food is delicious. I don’t even like potatoes but these breakfast potatoes are ! They are so flavorful, veggies are grilled, I assume the potatoes are too but not sure. The grilled green peppers and onions with the potatoes are really out of this world. (Remember I don’t even like potatoes like that! The smell of the chocolate chip pancakes filled the car. (We ordered to go. it smelled AMAZING. Daughter says they are delish and might have overdone it with the tall stack! But the great thing about Choco chip pancakes is how great they taste cold as well as hot. They don’t take Apple Pay and sadly I only had enough cash to cover the order itself so I wasn’t able to tip but Maria said, it’s ok, next time. So darn, I guess we have to go back next weekend so I can make it right with her. They have 6 tables that seat 4 and one table that seats 2. It’s a bit of a tight space but you know, sometimes the “hole in the wall” restaurants have THE best food and I would say that’s the case with Manny’s! I like this place. Its typically Mexican but with some American food. Last time the taco plate was stunning! Sorry for pick with already started food, but I wanted to share with u. Great job, guys.

Manny’s Cafe is a small family owned restaurant that has been in business for five years in Carol Stream, Illinois. It is one of those hole in the wall joints that is a jem. Had the pleasure of going their today and trying it out. We had the steak and egg meal and the Greek Omelette with house breakfast potatoes and chocolate chips pancakes. Our drink of choice was coffee and some water. The owner Manny was very helping, friendly and caring. He took the time to speak with us about our food choices and how to make the tasty. The rest of the staff was so kind and thoughtful about everything that was needed. I will be going back there again.
