Great little hidden gem of a place. Not bright and fancy, just comfortable like the little corner place back home.

We went for a short trip to the beach and came across hoplite. It's a cute little place with really good food. They had live music and the guys (New River) were great. We sat at the bar since there is only 2 of us and the bartender Ashley was AMAZING! We will be back next time we come to town.

The meatloaf was terrific, the fish and chips, a terrific disappointment.

This is really a pub with good food, great live music and a great atmosphere. My wife had the shepherd cake and I had the fish roast special. The Guinness on Hahn and an alcohol-free IPA rounded off the food. It's not very big and the music can be loud, but if you're looking for a fun place to eat and drink, check it out.
