North of the Border - Carpentersville

This was our first time in the north of the border 1, and I can't believe how we never stopped eating here. We had the steak tacos, and they were amazing. It's a ride from our house, but it's worth it. Everyone was so friendly, and we will definitely be back.

Outdated menu graphics, overly repetitive attention tombber, outdated and cheap interior decor... Yeah, you're right. It is the perfect place for tacos. Spicy and smooth salsa, plentiful and varied sauces that come with own squid bottles (3 per table), Asada, which is well marinated and seasoned, and all served quickly, happy, yet surprisingly cheap. I would be here every day and twice on Sunday if I lived closer.

So easily obsessed with this place, so I could be clearly biased. We loved her suizo steak burritos. I also made the steak tacos and they were also very good, but the suizo burrito is just the next level. Ginorm and inexpensive. It's good to go somewhere that didn't exaggerate their prices! Another favorite aspect was there different levels of sauces. All so good flavors, but I really appreciate the different options and heat levels!

How have I not yet rated this place? I love this restaurant! It's my favorite place for Mexican cuisine. The staff is great, the food is great, and their Habanero sauce is the best I've ever tried.

The food is authentic and fantastic, the set up is really cool and the service was awesome I will definitely be back. Also the margaritas are pretty damn good!
