Merkado Mexican Grill And - Carrollton

I dined there a couple of years ago and found the interior to be beautiful, with a unique menu that featured delicious dishes. The Mexican cuisine and intriguing cocktails left quite an impression. However, it has now transformed into a Tex-Mex sports bar, which I found very disappointing.

We visited on a Friday night, and the band was fantastic—they really energized the whole room. The drinks were excellent, particularly the mango margarita. The dance floor was always bustling and full of life!

We celebrated a friend's birthday at the restaurant. The service was good, though not outstanding, and the food was similar. There were only two tables occupied, but the kitchen was a bit slow with the orders. I would be open to giving it another try in the future.

If interested I would think twice about choosing this place. Not like how it looks at all, place is so dead and quiet, which ruins everything. Service was ok , so was the food. Overpriced spent 100$ for 3 drinks 2 entrees. Which is just outrageous. Wish I could get my money back , wasn’t pleased at all.

My chair broke while sitting in it and I fell on the floor. No one acknowledged the point I fell… We received the wrong food order but they did correct that… Also they upgraded our $11 drinks without our consent and changed us $19 each, it wasn’t worth it…….
