Flavors Of India - Carson City

The host was incredibly friendly and even overlooked their own opening hours to serve us a delicious chicken tikka masala, which reminded me of the authentic dishes I’ve had in India. While the location isn’t particularly scenic, it’s quite convenient. Overall, both the host and the food were exceptional.

We enjoy both the Indian vegetarian and meat dishes equally; they are absolutely delicious. Dolly expertly seasons her dishes to perfection. We are thrilled to have them and their restaurant here in Carson!

I ordered my go-to dish, chicken tikka masala, with medium spice. It was delicious – maybe not the absolute best I've ever had, but still very tasty. The prices were a bit higher than I expected, but the quality and the promptness of the service exceeded my expectations. The only downside, aside from the difficulty in finding the place, was that the temperature inside was quite chilly, and I felt freezing at times. On a positive note, I added a little heavy cream to my leftovers, and I think it tasted even better the next day than it did the night before! Overall, I was pleased with my experience and will definitely visit again. I have to try the homemade mango ice cream next time! I guess they’ll keep me coming back despite my initial struggle.

Our school has some wonderful excursions to daljit (dolly) to enjoy and share their wonderful Indian cuisine, culture, language and much more. what a gift she is for the community and eating is the best.

Dolly 's cuisine is the best! I highly recommend Flavors of India. I 've been a fan of Dolly 's for a long time. I am a big fan of her butter chicken, her rice dessert that 's out of this world, and much more. I also love her commitment to Carson City. Dolly donates to the schools and loves to support the community. I also recently attended her parking lot event, the Holi Festival. It was huge, huge fun and a large happy crowd attended. We covered each other in chalky color until we were all coated in it. I 've never been part of a Holi Festival. I 'd only seen it on Hollywood movies. What a blast! She has more fun events for the community that she 's planned. Definitely worth checking out her restaurant and speak with Dolly! You 'll meet an angel on earth with a heart and a passion for providing delicious dishes for her customers.
