Da Vinci Ice Cream - Carson

Came here one evening as a little celebration for a recent promotion! We wanted to try something new and Da Vinci was highly rated. The staff was nice and the ice cream options were exciting. I got a cookie sandwich with a chocolate chip cookie and red velvet cookie with the blue cookie ice cream covered in Oreos. The ice cream flavors were all rather bland, as I sampled them. I enjoyed the Oreo crumbs on my ice cream more than anything else. Also the cookies were very hard and stale quickly combined with the ice cream which led to the sandwich being very hard to eat. I think the cookies would be much better if they were a bit thinner and wider, when paired with the ice cream. On the positive, we went on a Tuesday evening and it was happy hour so our cookie sandwiches were half off which was absolutely awesome! Also I got the Brookie cookie to go and it was SO good! The cookies alone are magnificent. I would come back just for those!

I started working in Carson about the same time this place opened, and I can say with certainty that they have always delivered an excellent service, and not just in delivering us with amazing ice cream but also in delivering a great smile and experiences like paint night. I will miss them very much and wish then the best of luck while they find a new location meanwhile don't forget they'll be taking catering orders.

I had their ice cream cookie sandwich with the coffee ice cream and it was so damn good. Their chocolate chip cookies have big chunks and they taste amazing. The place looks so fun with all the paintings on the wall.

I’m bummed that they’re closing. Davinci ice cream is so so good. They’re ice cream cookies are excellent. Best Ice Cream !!
