Írjon visszajelzéstLomo salteado was ok, taste too much vinegar. The white rice with it uncooked, hard when eating. Ordered a coffee and wasn't giving until end of order which was to go. They forgot. Ordered food to go and was charged taxes, tips, and a fee to go! So from16$ plate and a coffee total was 23$. The order was Lomo salteado, which had steak small pieces and lots of fatty, no theregular steak use for Lomo salteado. Large aluminum plate, small cup of white rice and plantains only 2 pieces. Felt a rip off.Place looks nice, small.
The carne asada was terrible and inedible; I couldn't even cut it with a steak knife. The rice and beans were the only things we could manage to eat, but you could tell the rice was old. We also ordered two Bandeja Paisas, but when I picked them up, they initially gave me the mini version and charged me for the regular one. I had to ask for the rest of my order, and the same situation applied to the steak, which was not edible. The sausage and chicharrón were gross, lacking flavor, and also seemed old. NOTHING was fresh! We returned the food, keeping only the barely edible rice and beans, and they deducted $5 because we didn’t return it with the rest of the order. Seriously? $5 for a tiny bit of rice and beans? We will NEVER return to this location, EVER! I must give a shoutout to their photographer because the menu pictures look incredibly appealing—but don’t let them fool you; it’s not accurate! One last thing: their portions were giant and incredibly disappointing!
This restaurant serves delicious empanadas, but unfortunately, the staff is quite rude to customers who speak English. I understand there can be a language barrier, but it feels very unfair to be treated coldly just for speaking English. I believe that customer-facing staff should have at least some basic English skills. Typically, I would brush this off as a cultural misunderstanding and just grab my food, but while I was waiting to place my order, I noticed that Spanish-speaking customers were greeted warmly and served right away. I'm not sure if this was intentional discrimination or just a result of poor etiquette and language difficulties. In the end, I left feeling disappointed.
I'm not one to give low scores easily, but I have to say I'm done with this location and won't be returning. I ordered breakfast that typically comes with toast, but when I asked for it, I later saw on my bill that they charged me an extra $5. When I questioned the person at the register, he said that was correct because I must have ordered the wrong item. That extra $5 has cost them a customer. I'm finished here and will stick to eating at the Diner Bus Stop from now on.
Very helpful and patient staff. My go-to baked good was sold out but the others I purchased were fantastic! Also had a steak arepa that hit the spot. The fresh orange juice too was heaven sent on the hot day. I hope to explore more of their menu andpastries when I come up to the area again.
