Chatham Hill Winery - Cary

I was really disappointed. This place feels more like a wine room than a true winery. When I envision a winery, I think of beautiful vineyards, lush greenery, and a pleasant outdoor atmosphere. Instead, it resembled more of a restaurant with a bar. The waiter came to our table just once, standing there awkwardly without speaking until we asked about the wine. After bringing our order, we didn't see him again until we had to stop by the bar to settle our bill. I had high hopes for a much better experience.

We had a fantastic wine tasting experience as a group of nine. Wally, the owner, was incredible. The wines were delicious, and we were treated to plenty of snacks. Thank you, Wally!

I had an amazing experience at the restaurant, and the wine was absolutely fantastic! Marty, the owner, was delightful and even allowed us to take pictures in front of the barrels. This place is a must-visit—make sure to stop by to taste and savor the delicious wine!

Great little place to visit. My wife and I stopped by for a glass of wine there the other day when we were in the area. The wine was tasty, and the owner Marty was really friendly. She even gave us a taste of the Muscadine wine, which was actually quite good. Also Anthony who was pouring wine for everyone was super friendly also.

Beyond disappointing! The nondescript bar tender never greeted us when we walked in or even lower herself to say hello once we sat down. Why would you ever have someone so inept on the front lines of any company? Not only was the service one of our worst experiences but the wine couldn’t even save our evening. Sparkling Sauvignon Blanc? At least explain that before you leave the room to pour a glass. The whole trip was a waste of our time! Not until we were paying the check and leaving did the wine server become interested in us with a sad display of false attention. Tip time, time for fake flirting. Thanks but no thanks.
