Cilento's Food Take Away - CASAL VELINO

If you are in the surroundings and you would be happy to taste some local food at a very moderate price, this is the place for you. Spaghetti with clams (delicious), cavatelli with eggplant and provola (normal) , parmigiana di melanzana (eggplant with tomato and cheese, good) and water, 16€... That's a deal!

Doesn't look very promising from the outside, but the food is outstanding and very worth stopping for. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and willing to prepare special orders, if warned in advance. Brings back happy memories of home cooking for an Italian who has been out of the country for too many years. Would not hesitate to recommend this place.
